Questions and Answers:

Q: What time should my child arrive at school?

A: Students may begin arriving after 8:00. School begins promptly at 8:15 each morning and students should enter using the side door by the Kindergarten classrooms. If your child arrives after 8:30, they may need to enter school through the main doors and check into the office. 

Q: Will my child have a snack/milk break at school?

A: Yes, every day your child will be provided with a small carton of milk and a snack provided by the "Special Person."

Q: Does the B-E Elementary collect Box Tops for Education?

A: We sure do, so please save them for us. If possible have your child cut the Box Tops and save them in snack size bags of 50.

Q: Where can I find more information about the breakfast and lunch program?

A: The school breakfast and lunch program is handled through our school office. If you have any questions please stop and see Erin in the office or give her a call at 320-524-2263. (Ext. 2000)

Q: If my child is going home from school a different way than he/she normally does, what do I need to do?

A: Please contact school. You need to tell your child's teacher, a note or phone call is absolutely necessary! Your child will be sent home their usual way unless a note/phone call is received. 

Q: How will I know when my child is the "Special Person?"

A: The "Special Person" will be listed on the monthly calendar and we try to send home a reminder note the day before it is your child's turn to bring a snack. We will send a paper copy of the monthly calendar each month and it can be found on the website under the "CALENDARS' tab as well.

Q: How will I know when my child is the "Student of the Week?"

A: The "Student of the Week" will be listed on the monthly calendar and we try to send home a reminder note a few days before we need their pictures brought to school. We will send a paper copy of the monthly calendar each month and it can be found on the website under the "CALENDARS' tab as well.

Q: Will my child have a place to store their extra school supplies in the classroom?

A: Yes, each student will have their own tote with lid to store the extra supplies you may have bought in the fall. The totes are labeled with your student's name and are easily accessible for when new supplies are needed.

Q: How many times a week should I check my student's folder?

A: Please check your child's folder DAILY to keep in touch with how they are doing and what is happening in our rooms/school.
